Devara VS Stree 2: 'Devara' Progressing Slowly, 'Stree 2' Preparing to Bid Farewell to the Box Office

Junior NTR's film Devara Part One has recently been released. After the first day's collection, its box office performance has shown fluctuations. Despite being made on a large budget, the film still has a long way to go at the ticket counters to become a hit. On the other hand, Amar Kaushik's directorial Stree 2 has already been declared an all-time blockbuster due to its stellar earnings. Let's find out how much each film earned on Friday.

Devara Part One

Devara Part One is directed by Koratala Siva. He had earlier collaborated with Junior NTR for the blockbuster film Janatha Garage. Talking about Devara, a lot of time and money was spent on making the film. However, the collections so far have not matched expectations.

In its first week, Devara Part One collected ₹215.6 crore. Now, as it enters its second week, the film is progressing slowly. According to the latest figures, the film earned ₹6.2 crore on its eighth day, bringing the total to ₹221.8 crore.

Stree 2

Stree 2 has been dominating the box office for the past seven weeks. Even in its eighth week, the film is trying hard to hold its ground at the ticket windows. However, the pace of the film has slowed down considerably. In its seventh week, Stree 2 collected ₹9.35 crore at the box office.

As per the latest figures, Stree 2 earned ₹50 lakh on its 51st day. With this, the total collection of the film has reached ₹592.45 crore. It is expected that the film will soon enter the ₹600 crore club in the coming days.
