According to a report by Saccanilk, ARM collected around Rs 3.5 crore nett in India on its opening day across all languages. The box office performance of the film varied across different language versions. In its Malayalam 3D version, ARM garnered a total occupancy of 36.67% on the opening day, registering 28.08% occupancy in morning shows, 29.96% in afternoon shows, 36.86% in evening shows and 51.78% in night shows. Meanwhile, its 2D version witnessed a total 21.39% occupancy across Malayalam theatres. With the Onam season approaching, the film is expected to see a significant rise in numbers over the weekend.
ETimes gave the film a rating of 3.5 out of 5, praising it as a "visual spectacle". The review highlights that Tovino Thomas shines in his three roles, captivating the audience with his blend of elements of myth, fantasy, nostalgia, and caste politics.
